NO Daytime Access to/from Nantucket & Cutty Sark, RV Access Road
10/6 & 10/7
Only emergency vehicles will have access to enter/exit Nantucket & Cutty-Sark
In order to restore Nantucket Road, road crews will be grading and paving from 7:00 am to 7:00 pm next week on Monday, Oct. 6th and Tuesday, Oct. 7th. This requires residents on Nantucket Road and Cutty-Sark Drive to make plans ahead in order to be prepared for full daytime road closure to Nantucket. The RV Access Road will be inaccessible from Nantucket Road. Only emergency vehicles will be allowed to pass. This is for the safety of both road crews and residents.
What you need to know:
- Plan to stay at the residence during these days from 7:00 am to 7:00 pm or plan to stay away from the residence
- No vehicles will be allowed in or out of Nantucket–if you need to drive around or outside of the Pointe, your vehicle must be parked outside of the Nantucket/Cutty-Sark area
- There will be no pedestrian access along the shoulders of Nantucket Road during these hours
- Foot traffic to/from trails possible on Cutty-Sark
- No deliveries can be made to residences on Nantucket or Cutty-Sark, deliveries need to be directed to the HPMA clubhouse or rescheduled
- The furthest East Nantucket trail only accessible during low tides
- *If the road closure on either of these days creates a hardship for you, please contact the District General Manager as soon as possible to identify the concern and allow time to identify a solution.
What you need to know if you DON'T own a home on Nantucket or Cutty-Sark:
- Do not plan any activities that require access to these 2 streets during these identified paving hours
We appreciate the continued cooperation and patience as the project continues moving forward.
