The District has experienced issues with one of its wells since last week. Well #4, by the mailroom, has an electrical problem with a pump component. Last Wednesday, PUD 3 checked its transformer and found no issues. An electrician on Friday checked several electrical components and didn’t find anything definitive, but gave some possibilities. District staff ordered a new electrical part that might solve the issue, but it isn't known how long it will take for that part to arrive and it is not certain if this will solve the problem.

Well #2 is up and running - it just isn’t able to produce enough Gallons per Minute (GPM) to keep up with the demand. Currently Well #4 is running, but at a lower GPM to keep the amperage down. This means that water is available, but not at a high demand. So we are asking everyone to conserve water by not using it for non-essential purposes, such as watering outside, washing cars, etc. With everyone’s cooperation, it will ensure that water is still available for essential purposes and help with pressure issues at the South end of the Pointe.

Thank you for your help during this situation, and we will update this once it changes.

Updates will be posted here as available.
